Glimmo combines "Glimmer" and "Moment," encapsulating our hope to help you "Capture the Glimmer in every Moment."

What's the difference between Glimmo and traditional journal apps?

Besides a newer design and multiple user experience improvements, we've integrated some innovative features that set Glimmo apart from traditional journal apps.

Emoji Life Jar: Our app uses AI to transform journal entries into vibrant emojis, stored in a whimsical life jar. This feature allows you to visualize your journey in a fun and unique way.

Interactive Journal: After each entry, you receive personalized responses from AI companions. This companion can be custom-designed to resemble loved ones or even pets, adding a personal touch to the journaling experience.

Automatic Mood Tracker: With AI, we analyze the emotions behind your entries, whether expressed through words or pictures, and generate an emotion calendar/report. This benefits your mental health by providing insights into your emotional patterns.

Collection: You will be able to build a virtual museum within the app, showcasing meaningful items along with your stories. Whether it's a cherished Jellycat from a loved one or a Lego car from childhood, these items can be preserved and celebrated.

How could I create my own AI companion?

You could find the entrance by clicking the avatar in the upper-right of the app, then click "Setup your AI companion" to create your personalized AI Companion.

Can I use multiple devices and sync them?

Yes, Glimmo uses iCloud to automatically synchronize your entries and all data across all of your devices.

Once iCloud Sync is activated, the synchronization runs automatically in the background.

Is my data safe in Glimmo?

Privacy is our top concern. Your data stays on your device — we or anyone else have no access to your entries or any other content from you.

Can you or anyone beside me read my journals?

Definitely not. You are the only one that has access to your entries.

Can I protect Glimmo with FaceID/TouchID?

Yes, you could enable FaceID/TouchID to secure your Glimmo. Only you can unlock and use the app.
